Our history
Originally from a miller's family, Champagne Payer was created in 1854 in the town of Romery.
Subsequently, between crisis and revolution, the winegrowers helped each other and united in cooperatives.
In 1954, my grandfather, Camille PAYER, was one of the 11 founders of the Fleury-la-Rivière Cooperative.
In 1962, my father, Marcel PAYER, was one of the 24 founders of the
Regional Cooperative of Champagne Wines.
